THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE

PARSHA

NITZAVIM-VAYELECH 07

“Choose life that you and your descendants may live” (Deut.30.19)

Nowadays, there are those who are always looking for ways to ‘kill time’. In contrast, the Torah states, “Choose life to live”.

Seek a way of life that is fulfilling, true and pure. Make your life meaningful, do not turn to a life of emptiness. (Rabbi A. Solomons)

Life is a gift that may be for blessing, or a curse. Because of our free will we have the ability to choose between the alternatives that are presented to us.

May we choose wisely to merit a worthwhile life.
